I have the same problem with SD card oddly missing days recordings
Formatted cards ok for a day or two then start missing again only on two out of six

Now that we have reproduced the issue, we have found a fix. It is currently undergoing thorough testing before we release it this week. I will keep all posted.

Why you try to push everwhere Kami cloud, I do not need this !!! and do not want to see this when I want to see video preview

We completely understand your frustrations @PeterMac but this is the direction all IP camera are going. There are so many benefits to using the cloud vs free storage or SD card. Wyze V1 is no longer being updated and Wyze encouraged everyone to upgrade to v2. What they didn’t tell their customers is that they had a major security flaw in the V1 that allowed remote access to their customers SD cards. With the cloud, you get full encrypted data and a better experience through the app. We offer a free trial period for any one interested to take a look. I strongly recommend giving it a try.

Sorry, but I really do not need this. I use it in different way. I pay for this camera and worked fine since now. Latest update 11.0.36.xxx totally make it piece of crap, I can’t use person detection anymore. Please Steven tell me how to downgrade firmware to previous one 9.0.36.xx Thanks.

I have good hidden camera so I do not need Kami cloud subscription.

On firmware download page previous firmware for Yi Home 1080 AI+ is 9.0.19, I had before 9.0.36 on my camera as I remeber.
My DID is IFUSY65, does this firmware from this page will be good ?
How to downgrade it step by step ?

@PeterMac You have to download the firmware to your SD card first, then put the SD card in your cam and this should sideload the firmware. This is tricky and causes issues. I don’t recommend doing this. I understand you don’t need a subscription but it’s really just a click of the button and you’re out of that page. This is very common for most IP camera providers. They want you to be cloud subscribers to get the full benefit.

I put this firmware file on SD card and nothing happen.

Click of the button and you are out of that page - not exaclty, no more 6 seconds preview from cloud in Yi Home app ver. 5.x and higer.

Also, please return Smart AI Human detection on camera firmware side not server like you did in latest firmware. I tested this and was time that not worked, probably problem was with your server and no one was recognized so this is not secure option to detect human/person if something is wrong with server.

I have 26 YI cameras across 2 different locations, a mix of Dome, Outdoor 1080p and Home3 cameras. Most of the cameras stop recording in continuous mode occasionally, reformatting the sd cards usually fixed the problem. One recent case is a newer 1080p Outdoor camera with a new sd card, both installed within 30 days. Last night around 7pm the continuous stopped recording, the sd card stated 25G available and everything else looked normal. I am using quality sd cards, most of them Samsung 32G EVO’s. Also had the same thing happen yesterday afternoon with a dome camera, again formatting resolved the problem for now. Is there a permanent fix?

What firmware version is on the 1080P
What firmware version is on the dome cam?
What version of the app do you have?
Are you android or iOS?
What type of detections do you have turned on?

iOS 15.4.1

What type of detections do you have turned on?
1080p: motion, detection and frequency set to high. Continuous recording enabled

Dome: No detection, continuous recording enabled

The other odd thing is 2 of the dome cameras can not be toggled to off and the cards can not be formatted even though the app says it was.
