i am new in this forum, but i am big YI fan and I owned every security camera from this company’s portfolio. I am very excited to buy yi kami doorbell and test it in my home enviroment.
But let’s get to the point.
I want to buy a new model of the YI Dome U camera. But there are 2 version with different features. One is EU version with face detection feature and 1080p video resolution and then there is SEA version (South East Asia) with no face detection feature but with 2k video resulution.
My question is, if I am living in EU region, will then the SEA (South East Asia) version of YI Dome U camera work in Europe? Or is there a region (software or hardware) block for SEA and EU version of this camera model and they can be used only in its own region ? EU version only in Europe, and SEA version only in South East Asia. This is a question for YI support team. Can anyone give me a professional answer?
