Hello. I have problem with Yi dome Camera 1080p
10 seconds after turning on the camera, a click occurs and it starts spinning, after which it returns to the starting position, waits for 10 seconds, clicks again and spins (And so on in a circle)

Have you reseted your app? Check out this link to find the reset button

Remove the app from your account
Hit the reset button
Go through the pairing process again
Test to see if this resolves the spinning
Report back to us with your results

The camera responded “reset is successful”, but the behavior has not changed, it does not go into pairing mode.

May I ask where and when did you purchase the camera? And, do you subscribe to our cloud services?

The camera was purchased in Ukraine 10/15/19
I did not subscribe to cloud services, I used the free version.
I have a clue that the problem is in the firmware. But on the site I did not find the file.
Let me do some digging and find the firmware @Lokki we are in the process of consolidating information and improving our firmware team in general. Let me get back to you with an update when I find out more.

Not just yet @Lokki and I do apologize for the delay. We are currently working to revamp the fimrware page and get the files on there up to date and correct. It’s one of our highest priorities and I will let you know as soon as I know more.

Hey @didi167 Thanks for reporting this to the forum. Just a couple of questions to help point our team in the right direction…
What is the camera’s power source?
What is your operating system? Android or iOS?
How far is it from the wifi?
What app version do you have?
What version of the firmware?
Have you recently tried to reset your camera?

Was this issue ever resolved?? I have a yi dome guard and it is doing the same. It will not reset however and will not say ready to pair.
IOS.
Right next to the Wi-Fi.
Latest version of the app and firmware as it’s brand new.
One more disappointed Yi user right here.
Out of 3 Yi Dome cameras, 2 keep spinning non-stop, like the original post describes. Third just plain died.
Just about ready to scrap all Dome cameras at the company I work for and get a different brand.
@Steven_Kami, are you still working on this persistent problem?
Is organizing the firmware page still amongst your top priorities 4 years later? Just curious what is going on with this company? Used to make good stuff…
