Unable to add a camera on a different region

Hi,

Can anyone let me know how to fix an issue where it says “QR Code scan failed. Please select the same login region as the other party”.

I am on a different region (USA) and the camera is in the Southeast Asia region.

Obviously this is a region based error but is there a workaround for this? We have multiple Yi cameras which is why we decided to use Yi’s as well on a different region to have a single app control all our cameras.

The camera and your phone must be connected to the same network.

We are experiencing the same problem. We are located in the same house and using same connections for the wifi and 2 iPhones that we want to be able to access the wifi. I hope you could guide us on this. Thank you.
