I have the same problem on iPad iOS 15 but not on earlier iOS
Need time stamp and recording fixed app still not as good as it was
Is your sideways? I have a partial fix if needed.

Ok, my fix allows me to view full screen in landscape mode/orientation on the device. This is on my ipad pro.
Turn the device so it is in portrait mode/orientation.
Swipe from the top right corner diagonally towards the lower left (green arrow). You should see the little menu of icons open up like in the picture.
Press the icon indicated by the yellow arrow. It should turn red. This locks the screen into portrait mode or no rotation.
Open YI and select the camera to view. Should look normal with the little picture at the top and recent events below.
Tap the full screen arrows and the full screen should open and rotate 90 degrees.
NOW, if it is all set ok then when you turn the device to landscape orientation the full screen view should remain and not rotate as you rotate the device.
Have tried it but still not right I have iOS 15 on iPad which compounds problems still waiting for proper update or fix thank you for replying
