Motion Detection Constantly Turns Itself Off Rendering the Camera Useless

I have just purchased a new wireless camera and disappointed to find the smart detection / motion detection keeps turning itself off each time I exit the app. The camera firmware is updated and I’ve also updated the app. I purchased the camera and the corresponding subscription primarily to detect people coming onto the property. Please help as currently the camera is completely useless and I’ve paid for the one year subscription :frowning:
