Yes, I have to say they do have decent cameras. We have been trying out different brands to compare. Sadly the company just wants us to pay for everything. When we first got their cameras years ago, they were new and only had 2 camera models. No outdoor ones at all. The app was far and above competitors apps. Everything was on an SD Card and you had free access to that information (it’s YOUR SD Card so you should) through the app. Then they got a great outdoor camera that we added to our system. We were told that we would never HAVE To pay for features as long as we had the cameras. But - a couple years in, that started to change. Slowly they put features behind “optional” pay plans. They were options that we didn’t really use so no problem. People were not happy. Slowly, the features we used were put behind the pay wall too. Not only that, but their cloud plans skyrocketed in price! The more they took away, the more the cloud plans cost. So, here we are today with 3 great cameras and the app barely does anything. We did a free trial of the cloud service hoping to get back to the first days we had the cameras/apps but the paid plan was just not worth the price. Even having some of those features that were free before, the app is just horrible. Now it feels like all they want is money and even if you pay them, they don’t care how bad their app is. The app is how we access the cameras and it should work without issues and work even better with the paid plan otherwise what’s the incentive to pay?
