How to record from past timeline

@KamiUser I only see one screenshot that you have provided showing the storage capacity and limitations when formatting your microSD card in the app. I don’t see a screenshot showing the error, “Not supported yet”.

Please email our customer support at support@yitechnology.com to better understand and further address this issue. Refer with ticket# 427231.

@KamiUser I apologize I noticed the other pictures after I clicked on the main screenshot. I personally have not come across this error, “Not supported yet” when trying to record the video playback from the microSD card. I will look into this issue personally and escalate it to our internal team if needed.

To further troubleshoot your issue, since you are using both apps, can you please provide the app version you are currently running. To verify, on the app home screen, click on Discover. Then click on About. The version will be listed under the name of the app. What is the make and model of the phone you are using?

The Kami app on my iPhone 5s and ipad is version 1.3.4 and Yi app on my iPad gen7 is version 4.3.6

My kami outdoor camera firmware is up to date with latest version 4.7.0.1B_201908131630

My iPhone is a 5s with version iOS 12.4.6
My iPad is a gen7 with iOS 13.4.1

I am having the same issue, what is the solution please?

Is there a fix for this, as seems a huge step back from the previous Yi model.

@KamiUser I apologize for the delay. We tested the same issue with a Kami Outdoor and were able to record the playback on the microSD card to the phone. Are you still seeing the error, “Not supported yet”, when trying to record the playback on your microSD card to your phone?

@mark.j.jamieson Are you also using a Kami Outdoor wired camera? Please send a screenshot of the issue you are seeing in your app? Is your app up to date?

This show exactly the issue when I try to record.

This is a Kami issue only!
My new Kami cameras say the same, my Yi cameras can record as normal.
A very odd glitch.

@Adam do you have exactly the same ‘Not supported yet’ message? Do you have a Kami Wire-Free or wired outdoor’?

I have a Kami wired outdoor, my Yi ones can record perfectly. This seems to be a common problem, firmware update required I would suggest as currently it does not function as well as the older Yi camera.

Yes, still seeing the not yet supported message on my kami outdoor camera using both the kami and the yi app on my iPhone 5s and my ipad

Good afternoon, I also have similar issue ONLY with the 3 outdoor Kami Wired cameras.
In have other 10 Yi cameras that works perfectly and can record from playback. With the Kami cameras I can take pictures from the playback with the “camera button” and record video from the “live feed”, but when trying to record from playback I get the message “not supported yet”.
Just as disclaimer: all apps and cameras have update software, I tried multiple MicroSD cards and also tried to swap with the Yi camera that work, but always getting same message. I tried both Kami and Yi app…always same result.
Is Kami recognizing the problem or keeps asking us to update and reboot?
Thank you for any support, it is huge disadvantage if cannot record an event that could harm my safety.

After almost 1 year. It has not been resolved yet.
