Dome Guard Ethernet Connection

Hey,

I’m wondering if anyone can assist me in getting the Dome Guard connected over wired ethernet.

I have connected my Yi Dome Guard to my Wi-Fi network and have got it all up and running. However, I bought it to use the wired connection and do not want it to use Wi-Fi.

I have plugged in the ethernet cable and reset the camera after pairing it via Wi-Fi as instructed here: https://help.yitechnology.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260802670309-Does-YI-Dome-Guard-Support-Wired-connection. Once this is completed to pair it again uses Wi-Fi, there are no options anywhere in the app that I can find that allow for switching to wired connection.

Does anyone know how to change this from Wi-Fi to wired connection.

Same question here…
Please, can you explain how to explain how to connect to wired ethernet?

App only show wifi connection althouh rj45 cable is attached to the cammera.

Pairing a device to the camera via a wired connection is not supported. In order
to use a wired connection, you must pair the device the camera to a Wi-Fi
connection and then switch to a wired connection.

  • When switching your new network environment, reset your camera, and re-follow the connection and pairing procedure.
  • If you are pairing the camera via sound waves, increase the volume of your
    mobile device and keep it close to the camera
