I’ve just received and set up my Kami-baby and it’s pretty underwhelming so far. I can find no way to turn on the breathing detection and the alert feature being limited to once every 10 minutes without a subscription means you can easily miss something happening to your child. Am i missing something with either of these things or have I inadvertently bought a product that will only really work if you pay an ongoing fee?!

For the alert frequency 10 minutes is the default setting. You make make the cool off period between alerts shorter. The way you can do that is by going into settings, then pressing 'smart detection settings, and then ‘Alert Frequency’. There you can move the slider to the high setting.
Low = an alert every 10 minutes
Medium = an alert every 5 minutes
High = an alert every 3 minutes
To turn on the breathing detection, you press the icon that looks like wind. However, this feature is still in beta mode. The product team are working on improving the algorithm for future updates.
