Successfully installed a 1080p Outdoor camera and after 1 day would no longer connect to Wifi. After resetting the pairing process will go all the way to the reading of the QR code and then after a few minutes camera will reboot and return to “waiting to connect prompt”. Would like to manually reinstall firmware (It had automatically done so when first set up) but Yi download site is not providing a download. Link is not working. Where to go for download?
I have checked that page 2 weeks ago. There was no information to address my issue and I have so far submitted 2 requests but have yet to get a reply other than the standard email acknowledgement of the submission. I have 2 other Yi Outdoor cameras working fine so it is not the app or network. I have also tried pairing to another network without results. Right now I am looking for the Yi Outdoor 1080p manual firmware as a final effort before I have to request a replacement. Note I have purchased and installed for myself, friends and family 22 Yi cameras purchased on Amazon so am very familiar with the process.
That is why I gave you the link for customer services. You asked for firmware you request that via customer services. If you have contacted them did you get a reference number?

Hi I was having the same problem with my 2019 YI outdoor camera, I was trying all the steps explained here and it always led to “connecting to wifi message” and then restarting the whole cycle. As last option I changed the power adaptor from original YI that outputs 5V 1A, to an old phone power adptor that outputs 5V 1,5A, and now the Camera works ! Looks like that during the wifi pairing procedure more power is needed that the original brick can provide, or maybe original power brick is malfunctioning. Maybe give that a try. BR Mat
I did try with different Yi power adapters but no luck. Waiting for Yi support to send me the manual firmware update for going on 4 weeks. Don’t know what the delay is about.

Today marks 1 month since I first reached out to Yi support for a link for the manual firmware download for a 1080p Yi Outdoor. On August 30th I received a reply from Paul of Yi support directing me to this link
As has been happening since day 1, when I click on the download link for the Yi Outdoor 1080p (or any other camera) it just returns me to the top of the page and no download was made. So it appears that the links are not functioning. Meantime I am getting no support. I am tired of waiting and now want to begin the return process for two of the 4 cameras I purchased on June 9th 2021 on Amazon. Please tell me how to begin the replacement process.

It has been over 30 days so that window is closed. Amazing that getting simple firmware has been such a problem. I was willing to try reinstalling as a final troubleshooting attempt before returning them but have given up and now just want to replace them. Between for myself and friends I have purchased 22 Home, Dome and Outdoor Yi cameras. Only had to exchange 1 and that was because of rubber debris obstructing the lens. That was quick and easy. This has been over 22 days and still no means to download a firmware. Meantime a Yi cloud subscription for 5 cameras is only recording for 1 at the moment. I have submitted a return request to Yi support.
