YI IOT doesn't pair with Yi 1080 Home camera

Good evening, I’ve bought 2 YI 1080p Home Camera to check everything with the other camera that works perfectly with Yi Iot app.

I’ve tried to pair camera in YI Iot, everything seem to work great with pairing but when I have to put the name of camera, doesn’t allow me to safe. With app YI Home everything works perfectly.
Any suggest?

My understanding is with YI branded cameras the only apps you can use are

YI Home
Kami Home

Not the YI IOT app

Great question @Turix Welcome to the community! Thanks for joining. You can use the Yi IoT app with your cameras BUT we are moving away from this app. The best apps for you would he the Yi Home or Kami Home app.

Have you tried uninstalling, then reinstalling the Yi IoT app?

Thanks for your answer. No problem, I’ll try to move old camera to YI Home. My hope that the old camera will work in YI Home. Are there any differences between Kami and YI app? Thanks

Good question @Turix There is no difference between the Yi Home or Kami Home app other than their names. Yi & Kami are sister brands. You can use which ever suits your preferences.
