YI Home Camera 3 vs Wyze Cam V2?

I have 5x Wyze Cam v2’s, but looking at other cameras in the $25 range to compare. If you have experience with both, please share your thoughts.

Is this possible on Yi 3?

  1. record to local SD card, with motion trigger but keep records if the motion continues (I don’t trust cloud)
  2. on phone app, view live feed of 2-4 cameras continuously on a 2x1 or 2x2 grid
  3. when viewing SD card recording from phone, be able to fast forward 2x, 4x, 8x, etc.

Wyze cam v2 can do #1 and #2, but not #3. Plus the connection drops often while viewing live feed, so the image is just stuck. I am hoping Yi will be better.

@ctny the newer cameras coming under Kami brand will have

  1. Face detect and alerts can now show the face of person who triggered the alert
  2. Human detect - different than motion detect
  3. Works with both SD card and cloud
  4. Will have 24X7 emergency response
