My Yi dome camera resets every 15 seconds or so. This just started a day ago.
I have reset it, tried another power supply, and another power cable.
I guess something has just failed internally.
Anyone with any ideas?
How old is the camera? Do you have any other working Yi/Kami products that you could borrow the power adapter and cable from to test?
Can you recall what happened before this symptom started? Any power interruption? Any power surge? Have you tried a different mains socket?
If you have a SD card in take it out, try again and see what happens.
I would also be tempted to turn it off and leave it for ten minutes. Check the power port on the camera and if you can check to see if anything is caught in it.
Failing that it does sound like it’s either got itself into a software loop or it’s hardware related. I would either contact you retailer if in warranty or contact Yi customer support they might have more ideas
Camera is out of warranty. As stated, I have tried other power supplies and cords. I will try removing the SD card.

I had that issue too, and it was the SD card. I inserted a different SD card and have no problems after that.
