I have one of the indoor 1080p pan tilt cameras and everything works well with one exception. It is sitting about 6 inches from the wall and when I have it set on motion tracking, it follows me around the room well, however when I sit down and there is no more motion, it turns around completely to the back and stares at the wall. Shouldn’t it stay where it last saw motion? If someone came in the house it wouldn’t pick up the new motion to track becasue its starring at the wall and not pointing to the open room. Any help would be great.

Hello @Fordtough68! Welcome to the community. That’s an excellent question. Very strange.
Have you tried using any of the bookmark settings? Go to the controls for the camera and in the upper right corner of the controls, there is a “bookmark” option. You can bookmark and return to preferred positions.
When the camera faces the wall, turn the camera to face you, test the motion tracking, then see if it returns to where you turned it around or if it faces the wall again.
If you move it after it cruises to the wall to face you, test the motion tracking and it STILL turns back to the wall, we will need to escalate that and find out a little bit more information.
I reset the camera earlier today by unplugging and it seems to have stopped for now. I’m going to keep an eye on it and see if it happens again and update this thread. Thanks for the response.

Mine watches the dog for a few seconds, then stares at the ceiling. Frustrating and useless.
so true, mine I want to point it in only one pointed direction.

forward only, out doors.(it is on rain gutter, spec. mounts)

my wifi is useless pro grade AP, due to a brick home thick. (im a wifi tech too)
my hot spot does work S20 cell.
sadly no manual for the C21-5G, no PDF. my guess is too costly to do say 5 top languages…
the in the box usage sheet is no good at all ! seen directly or
I used powerful flat bed scanner on the sheet , to TIFF file (HIGH RESO)
and the words can not be read , impossible that.

I wanted it only to gain north coverage. ( then upgrade later )
