Hi I have a similar problem I have 3 camera 1080 and one of 3 camera lose the connection.
I try to cange two different wifi but the prolem it’s the same, I try to move from an electrical circuit to another but The probleme not cange.
I try to cange camera with a new but nothing.
i can’t figure out what the problem is
I installed a netgear wifi mesh system with the base and 2 satilites I installed them inside as close to the camera outside as I could and still get 100% signal. I used the 6000 square ft. coverage ones. This cured the problem. Now the only time they go down is when something happen to the wifi . After spectrum fix what ever made the wifi go down all I do is click the camera and it is back up no problem before I had to reset all the camera 2 or 3 times a day to get them back up and some time they would not come up. Before I showed a good wifi signal but now it is showing almost 100% at the camera System works great now. Hope this helps you as it did me.
Hi David,
So you think it’s a wifi problem?
It occurred to me that my current and previous wifi I used for testing would turn it off at night.
tonight I’ll try not to turn it off.
Then I will try to fix the ip to the mac address.
Thanks for the reply I try and update to you
Thanks Paolo
I would also think about adding a wifi extender close to the cameras that are having issues. I have a wifi extender in my backyard for my outdoor cams and I never have problems with connection.
