I recently purchased 4 x cameras (to which i did have the icloud free trial (well I didnt as they took money for it before I cancelled subscription) I was able to watch complete clip on each of y cameras but I have now realised that this function has stopped working - not sure if it is becuase the iclud subscription has expired or not but I was under the impression it should work if I have SD cards in them, can you please help?
Hey Karen, what cameras did you purchase? I’m guessing it’s a YI Home 4 pack?
To access full length clip you will either need a cloud plan, or you’ll need to install MicroSD cards in the cameras. Otherwise you will be limited to the 6 second clips, and those are only available to view for 24 hours.
For MicroSD cards, I recommend Sandisk brand. Just make sure they are class 10 or above and between 8 and 64GB. Once you install them in the cameras you’ll need to format them - by going into “Settings -> SD Card -> Format SD Card” in the app.
