Hey! Welcome  and thanks for joining the forum.

Can you please help me build a better picture of where the camera is sitting. Do you have the YI Dome 1080p inside your house? Some more information about the location, where it’s pointed etc will help give me a better understanding of your situation/use case and make it easier to provide some suggestions for optimizing the human detection feature.

In regard to your second question, you can only view the cloud recordings at normal speed.
Thanks!

Hii, thank u for the reply, yes camera is kept on the glass window in living room facing the front yard n road. Its so disappointing that we are paying for cloud and cant view at speed, is it expected that for a full day recording we sit full night infront of screen n view recording ? I believe i would soon opt out its not serving my purpose.

Thank you for providing that info! The reason why you are not being notified of the presence of a human is because the YI Dome 1080p is designed to be in indoor camera. Pointing it out a window toward the street means that it will not be able to detect motion correctly. For this task, you will need a dedicated outdoor camera.

Regarding not being able to playback footage at speed. The cloud motion detection alerts are designed so there is no need to scroll through hours of real-time camera footage.

When set up correctly the camera will capture recordings specifically where there is some activity, and notify you via an alert and a short clip. Then you can go into the cloud section of the app, playback the clip, and see what triggered the motion detection. That way you can quickly access just those times where something happened rather than having to manually scan through hours of footage.
