The sound doesn’t stay on. It goes to mute mode after a few mins. This app worked great then I took an update now it doesn’t work. How can I hear my baby cry at night if the sound shuts off???

Your camera model
The version of the YI or Kami app that you are using
our phone make and model
Am I understanding correctly that in the past you would leave the app open on the live view during the night? That way you could monitor the audio. But now even with the app open the audio feed stops after a few minutes?
I have the same exact problem.
They told me to change to the KAMI home app. But it’s stupid it makes me reconnect my camera every single time I close the app. No solution with YI. I won’t be recommending this camera again.
I think the problem is the camera buffering/reconnecting (even just checking the camera settings). When this happens, it mutes the audio feed. I think if anything, the audio should default to ON and have us mute it if we do not want to hear the feed
