I loaded my YI IOT camera to my Pc and I keep getting this message…Send HTTP Fail(6)… HELP PLEASE #Support It works fine on my phone.
We understand that upon installing the Yi Home windows computer version it keeps on giving you an error.
Apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused you.
In order for us to fix this issue please do the below steps.
- Please delete the downloaded installer and restart your computer.
- Please download the installer using this link https://kamihome.com/firmware/
- Try to install it again.

To bad that the software for the PC, (YI Home or Kami Home) is badly out of date and hasn’t been updated in years. It is riddled with bugs and issues that YI chooses to ignore.
Try turning off your security / anti virus. If you have K7 Installed for example, it will block HTTP traffic of the YI Cam.
thanks you saved me of dropping 3 cameras to the garbage¡¡¡ I just will add that do not forget to allow windows firmware rights for both (private/public) connections, otherwise it may fail again
