Hi recently purchased the Kami outdoor colour night vision camera,but I have a couple of questions regarding the SD card.
Is the SD card slot fully waterproof or will I need a dab of silicone around it?
Secondly,if I have issues with the SD card I guess it’s a case of climbing the ladder to retrieve the card?
Is there a recommended height for this camera?

The camera is of a waterproof design so no silicone should be needed. I guess if you want to for your own peace of mind go ahead and pop some on.
You are correctly if you have an SD card issue you can format within the app but if it requires a replacement or you want to check it in a computer it’s back up the ladder you go.

Thanks I did give it a read. My only problem now is I already have a hole in the wall for security light,but as the USB power cable cannot be removed to fit through the hole I’m a bit stuck as not making the hole bigger as it runs through 2 layer wall.
I read you can cut off the usb and resolder it on to avoid this issue? How many wires to resolder tho?
