Hi, there. I am bunanson, currently live in Williston, North Dakota and Jacksonville, Florida. I have been using YI ipcamera X 6 months and very happy about it. I have installed altogether 6 ipcameras in two homes, 2 city and working flawlessly. I Googled to try to watch ipcameras on PC, and came into your forum. V useful and helpful. Thanks

I hope to get more ipcamera news, new product, and more smart home use from the forum. I am interested in smart light and in particular smart door locks.

My name is Nash. I’m about 35-miles inland from the beaches of San Diego, California
with five Yi Home Cameras 1080P.
I’ve had four of the five cameras connected and operating smoothly (more or less) since August 2018 - fours years now.
I’ve been holding the 5th camera as a spare.
I found the forum yesterday (July 26th 2022) while Googling for a solution to a particular problem that came up. Then I joined the Forum earlier today.
I’ve found forums like this can be a good source for troubleshooting advice and other tips. That’s what I’m hoping to find here - constructive suggestions for making these cameras operational again after they stop working for whatever reason.
I look forward to productive discussions with other like-minded folks on the forum.

I have been a Yl user since October 2022. Learned about the cameras on Facebook.
Hoping to learn hacks for better camera usage.Hoping to figure out how to remotely fix an issue with one of four cameras.

@Yamin… I was a big proponent of Yi cameras until I had and am having a horrible experience with your customer service ( which is non existent). Since you are looking forward to feedback, here is some… don’t fleece people. Don’t promise something ( free 6 second clips) then snatch it from under a customers feet. Also just so everyone reading this knows… if you are a customer prior to a couple of year ago you are entitled to free 6 second clips… BUT once you try their free cloud trial… Yi will snatch this option that you thought you had because you paid for upon purchase of camera and will not reinstate if you decide not to buy their cloud service. Not sure how they sleep well at night knowing they are robbing their customers.

Hello, My Name is Gayle. We have had YI Camera’s approximately 2 years. We are having problems receiving messages requesting to reconnect after 30 minutes due to inactivity. What do I need to do too resolve this?

I just got my camera istalled today. It was kinda hit and miss because the lettering is so small on the '‘manual’ that came with it that I cannot read it. I heard about you by purchasing the camera on Temu. I am hoping this forum will help me get answers to my questions. First question, is there an online installation/use guide that I can read?

lol good luck in getting your credit card out of the system if you bought cloud. the customer service is non existent and youre unable to remove the credit card, and they will just keep deducting.

Your yi iot (wifi panorama camera) is the 5th device I have purchased in the past 6 months for a very specific function. So far, I do not have a success story.

My software career started in the spring of 1968 (yes, over 55 yesrs ago).

I have googled and watched worthless videos that do not provide any help.

I live on the New Jersey coast because I live to watch the surf. Back injuries prevent me from standing at the window, so I have been searching for a camera and app that will let me watch live for free the surf on a 65 inch TV that uses an Amazon firestick.

I have it working on my android cell phone.

So, I need to know what app to load onto the fire stick and exactly what to type into each field on that app so that I can watch the camera on my TV.

And if I can control tilt and pan using the fire stick remote, it is even better. This appears to be a huge market, especially for those of us that need everything in large, crisp (print).

Looking to fix an outdoor Kami camera which a battery went bad. Where can I purchase replacement batteries? Is there a way to fix the battery? Can I bypass a battery and use the camera without one? Appreciate your feedback. thank you…
