Hey guys…
My Yi Home Camera (Model: Yi Home Camera 1080p) has been disconnecting from the Wi-Fi network quite frequently. I’ve tried resetting the camera and reconnecting it to my network multiple times, but the issue persists. The camera works fine for a short period after resetting, but then it disconnects again. My Wi-Fi signal strength is strong, and other devices in the same area don’t seem to have any issues. Is there a known issue with Wi-Fi connectivity on the Yi Home Camera, or are there any troubleshooting steps I might be missing?
Another problem I have encountered is with the Yi Home app (Version: 4.1.1). Whenever I try to access the live feed or playback videos, the app crashes unexpectedly. I’ve ensured that the app is updated to the latest version, but the crashes continue. I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that hasn’t resolved the issue. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the app, and if so, what solutions have worked for you?
I’ve also heard that firmware updates can sometimes resolve connectivity and stability issues. However, I’m unsure if my camera’s firmware is up-to-date. The current firmware version on my camera is 3.3.0. The Yi Home app indicates there’s an update available, but I’m not sure how to proceed with the update. I also check this: https://forum.yitechnology.com/t/my-yi-camera-is-not-connecting-to-google-home-app-as-i-want-to-connect-it-with-my-google-home-nest-hubqlik But I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this?
