I am facing Issues with Yi Home Camera

My Yi Home Camera (Model: Yi Home Camera 1080p) has been disconnecting from the Wi-Fi network quite frequently. I’ve tried resetting the camera and reconnecting it to my network multiple times, but the issue persists. The camera works fine for a short period after resetting, but then it disconnects again. My Wi-Fi signal strength is strong, and other devices in the same area don’t seem to have any issues. Is there a known issue with Wi-Fi connectivity on the Yi Home Camera, or are there any troubleshooting steps I might be missing?

Another problem I have encountered is with the Yi Home app (Version: 4.1.1). Whenever I try to access the live feed or playback videos, the app crashes unexpectedly. I’ve ensured that the app is updated to the latest version, but the crashes continue. I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that hasn’t resolved the issue. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the app, and if so, what solutions have worked for you?

I’ve also heard that firmware updates can sometimes resolve connectivity and stability issues. However, I’m unsure if my camera’s firmware is up-to-date. The current firmware version on my camera is 3.3.0. The Yi Home app indicates there’s an update available, but I’m not sure how to proceed with the update. Hallo sender, I had the same problems with my pevious camera. I did excactly the same recovery and resets, enen my WiFi was strong and working well! By resetting again after a few times the camera always conformer wifi connected, but in vain…! I bought a new one!!

My camera says connected to wifi, but the app does not connect to the camera. It’s about to become an electronic baseball in to the wall.

If you just recently bought them within the return window time frame get rid of these cameras these people are Relentless with these stupid ads and then games pop up and you have to install a stupid game and all that crap I bought cameras I own the cameras I choose not to subscribe to their stupid cloud service and I choose to burn my cameras because it’s too late for me to return them and I’m going to stick with the amcrest cameras Solium cameras and the casa cameras they don’t force you or railroad you into buying their stupid service with ads constantly it seems like that’s the primary businesses the ads not the service on the cameras or anything it’s unbelievable Relentless b******* what do you expect from the goddamn Chinese CCP f****** idiots
