Well idk what the market version will come with, but the beta came with a device you connect to an existing wired chime. I’m wondering if that device can be connected to a wireless/battery operated chime you can pick up at Lowe’s or something.

Yes it does. When pressed.

Would be good to have it lit up all the time (when hardwired) so it can be seen in the dark

Could it be added to a future update within the app? Like a toggle switch to allow the button LED to be permanently on, just like the status light on the cameras can be toggled on/off?

Hey @majestic143 @sebastalian We def have plans to release the doorbell in the UK. I’m not 100% on the timeline for the release. I want to make sure I have the correct information. So, I’ll get back to you both when I learn a little more.

hello, I’m also looking forward to Doorbell’s arrival in France. .I am the administrator of a large French Google Home community. Is the Kami Doorbell compatible with Google Assistant? if so what are the possibilities? thanks in advance

We do have plans to release the Kami Doorbell in the Uk & EU in the coming months. I don’t have a firm time frame but it is happening. And, yes, the Kami Doorbell is compatible with Google Assistance.

Hey @sebastalian That is correct! The doorbell is compatible with Amazon Echo. Our smart cameras are all compatible with Echo and Google Nest :slight_smile:
