It will not work if you’re shipping to the UK from AliExpress for the Doorbell camera. I believe they are taking pre-orders with fulfillment being towards the end of September.
Let me double check with our team here and get an update on timeline. We will definitely need some UK participants for the “Birdie” reviewer program for the doorbell’s UK release. I’ll keep you posted

@Steven_Kami Just made the preorder for Kami doorbell from Kami Europe, delivery in October. Hopefully will have alexa support as well until then.

Awesome to hear @sebastalian! The doorbell is compatible with Alexa.
In regards to chimes, take a look at this list of compatible chimes. Any of these options will work for your doorbell setup

Hi, @Steven_Kami at the moment the Kami doorbell skill is not in the Amazon UK (only Kami Camera), I hope that will be added until October. Can you make the relevant team aware?

Hey @sebastalian thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will talk with the team here and get an update for you on timeline. I think the plan would be to release the skill at the same time the doorbell is available but I will confirm

Will the Video Door Bell support an external ringer/chime as be good to here the front door if I did not have my phone next to me.

Hey @sebastalian There should be no issue with your Kami Doorbell using Amazon Alexa skill. I just checked with our team and they are going to ensure that there is a skill available so anyone in the UK or EU can use it with Alexa.
Hi @Steven_Kami my order was dispatched yesterday and still no Alexa skill on Amazon UK. So I can’t use the Kami Doorbell with Alexa.

The skill has been approved the UK but im still not 100% sure. I will keep you posted @sebastalian we are doing some testing right now on the UK skill
