app notifications in wrong language

Has anyone else experienced this before and know how to resolve?

Problem: all applications across phones are in Korean.
Background: two phones are logged into the app, one phone is set to English and the other phone is in Korean.
Tried already (didn’t work): on the English phone logged out and back into the app.

You may try to change the language of the mobile device itself. The language of the mobile app will follow up the language set to the mobile device.
