surveillance camers users don’t care about those stupid ads at all.
I had the same problem. My One camera in the kitchen stopped working. They want me to upgrade and buy so I don’t have to pay for ads. I told them that I will not buy any ads. I had it for over a year all of us and all these ads are popping up. These are security cameras. When you look for security in your home or business whatever and add should not pop up on your screen. This is the worst company ever. And I’m starting to find out I’m not the only one and everybody is complaining and everyone is starting to spread it around not to buy this product
today when trying to view my stored data files Y1 has enabled a countdown clock which after about a minute changes over to their subscription ad and cuts me off from viewing my card data…does anyone else experience this crap…? how can one turn this off or are they forcing us to pay them for their cloud ?

I didn’t mind the banner ads and I put up with the video ads because well, I still needed to use the cams. Now we have a 90 second time limit for viewing before being redirected to an ad for their overpriced cloud service? It looks like ppl can’t even access stored data on their micro SD cards either??
How did anyone think this was a good idea?? The Kami Home app was a struggle before, but now it’s functionally unusable. As far as I know there is no alternative app or any way around Kami’s nonsense. I bought these cams years ago and was fine with just the free service but suddenly now I have to start paying for the privilege of using them??

I see the same. Every time I open the App, I see ads. I have to close the ads and then I try to see the footage. Also recently they have timed the footage watching for a minute which is very annoying.
If the video is stored on a micro SD card installed in the camera, this restriction should not apply. Being interrupted every minute to purchase a cloud subscription is frustrating, especially in situations where the camera is used to monitor a patient or check on someone at home. Additionally, this limitation prevents live viewing or two-way communication for more than one minute, which significantly reduces the usability of the camera.

would like to raise a concern regarding a change that appears to have been introduced approximately two months ago. I have noticed that a one-minute viewing timer has been added when watching recorded or live video. After one minute, a message appears stating that the viewing time has ended and prompts the user to subscribe to a cloud service.

I am not interested in purchasing a cloud service. Previously, there was no such restriction—you could always view footage stored on the SD card and watch live video for as long as needed. Other camera companies, such as Energizer, allow users to view footage from either the SD card or the cloud without forcing advertisements or subscriptions.
This new limitation feels like a forced change that was not part of the original agreement when the camera was purchased. I respectfully request that you remove the one-minute timer restriction for SD card recordings and live viewing, and allow users to access their locally stored footage without interruption.
